Noeli Naima is from Curitiba, South Brazil.Brazil is a patchwork of cultures, mainly in the South, where all Japanese, Europeans, native Indians, and descendants of Africa slaves brought to Brazil by the Portuguese, mixed together, creating a mixture very difficult to trace, not to mention trying to fit into genealogical family tree!
Noeli comes from a patchwork family, with Indians, Africans, Italians, Irish... and who knows what else??
When she was still a baby, all she wanted was to have her grandma’s clip earrings!!!
Her love for accessories was already born with her, soon she began to exchange her bracelets, earrings, necklaces with her friends, because they loved her ones which were so different to all others.
She believes that Divine Creativity is a gift from the Gods, and the love of all forms, colours, textures, materials, and cultures is intrinsic to her soul.
The deep search we all have in us for beauty is no other wish that to be one again with the Divine, from where we all come, and which we seek in everything, our clothes, our accessories, our furniture...for beauty, real beauty. She feels touched by a Divine Inspiration Muse that is always with her.
Noeli has formal training as a jewellery smith, and has taken many workshops with wonderful teachers in fashion jewellery, patchwork, mosaic, customization, crochet, embroidery, wiring, Indian seed beads...and many more. She now lets the flow of her own creativity put it all together!!
Just looking to the plasticity of colour, and the way it shines, gives her ideas, on how to transform this material in jewels, bags, T-shirts, belts, fashion jewellery, scarfs, complements, etc., a never ending flow towards her hands. (She wishes to be like Shiva Nataraj with lots of hands to be able to manifest so much beauty in our dimension!)
Noeli has already lived from creating of her collections for a long time ago in Brazil, designing fashion jewellery for another labels (with Sueli Zavadina for Colcci, for example) always offering as well lots of accessories for the jewels like scarves, some handicrafts by her mother, bags...
Nowadays, Noeli lives in Europe with her husband, in Germany near Munich, where she still creates two regular collections each year, Bhakti Moves and Street Fairy. She gives Yoga classes and workshops throughout the Globe, and she always take her magical accessories and jewellery with her to bring some colour and fun to the lives of others!!!
